IMA is located in the northern part of Bengaluru on the main road leading to the airport at Devanhalli. The campus is located just off the National Highway leading from Bengaluru to Hyderabad about 15 km from the city centre. A number of professional educational institutions are located in the close vicinity of the Campus. The Academic Block & the hostels are located in the same premises.

Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka, occupies the heart of the Mysore Plateau with an average elevation of 920m (3,018 feet). With a population of approximately 11.55 million (2016), Bengaluru is India's third-largest city. It has a large number of lakes, the prominent among which are Sankey , Ulsoor and Yediyur lake. A fast-growing metropolis, the city of Bengaluru has many imposing structures of historic and modern architecture. The city has several renowned institutions of Learning and Research. Many of them—such as the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Raman Research Institute, National Institute of Mental Health & Neuro-Sciences (NIMHANS) and National Aerospace Laboratories —have world-wide acclaim. The high-tech industries such as Aerospace, Electronics, Computers and Software have made Bengaluru their home, thanks to the easy access to a vast pool of scientists and engineers in the city. In the area of art and culture too, the city boasts of a rich heritage and tradition. It has several schools of classical music and dance. Apart from many historic temples, the city abounds in picturesque parks, gardens and other scenic spots.
Climate: Bengaluru is known for its salubrious climate where temperatures remain moderate throughout the year. In summer, the maximum and minimum temperatures hover between 36°C and 20°C, while in winter, the temperatures range between 27°C and 17°C. It receives adequate rainfall from the Northeast Monsoon as well as the Southwest Monsoon.
Transportation: Highways connect Bengaluru to Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai and other neighboring cities. Kempegowda Bus Terminus in Bengaluru also known as the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus stand is located opposite the Bengaluru city railway station. Buses from here connect Bengaluru to all major cities and states in southern and western India. Bengaluru is well connected to all major Indian cities by rail. The train stations in Bengaluru include Bengaluru City, Bengaluru Cantonment, Yeshwantapur and Bengaluru East. It has an international airport at Devanhalli. Metered auto rickshaws, taxis and buses operated by BMTC provide good connectivity within the city.
Commmunications: Bengaluru provides the highest bandwidth in the country. The city's telephone system is serviced by almost all the major landline companies: BSNL, Tata Indicom, Reliance and Airtel. There are six mobile phone companies: GSM players include BSNL, Vodafone, Idea, Airtel; CDMA is offered by BSNL, Tata Indicom and Reliance. Several companies like BSNL, Tata Indicom, Bharati, Hathway, Reliance,Vodafone, Sify and YOU Telecom offer broadband Internet access.
Bengaluru is well connected by road, rail and air. The participants joining the programme may plan their journey as per their convenience to arrive at Bengaluru campus on the dates indicated in the bank's communication.
Arrival: The participants should forward their arrival details through our website in advance. Reception centres will be established at Bengaluru city and Yeshwantapur railway stations. The participants will be received at the nominated reception centres and arrangements will be made for their conveyance to the campus. They would be allotted their accommodation after they reach the hostels. Instructions for the inaugural session and conduct of the programme will be given to the programme participants at the time of registration in the hostels. If anyone arrives at any other station (e.g. airport, bus stand or any other railway station), he or she can either directly arrive at the campus or arrive at one of the above two railway stations to report to the reception centre.
IMA has a full-fledged campus with all- round facilities for grooming bankers. The library at IMA is rich in resources with over 14000 volumes of subject related and books for general reading. We also subscribe about 50 magazines & journals and large number of economic and general newspapers. It is open on all days till late in the evening. Text books are supplied to all new students on returnable basis. Reference books can be browsed in the library and can also be borrowed. There are interesting teaser schemes to induce & promote reading habits such as free newspapers, additional books for borrowings and so on in select hours. The POs are provided with TABs loaded with study material to help them come prepared for the classes.
IMA has computer labs open every day of the week. Sufficient numbers of computers are made available for the learners, enabling a learner to machine ratio of 3:1. The campus has a high broadband connectivity enabling uninterrupted access to global knowledge.
Boarding and Lodging facilities are provided for all the participants.A full-fledged Manipal Clinic with 24*7 service facility is available at the campus. For specialized treatment if required, the POs are taken to a hospital.
